I know this is short notice and I'm very sorry about this. I feel like a complete jerk. But I wanted to let you all know that I've accepted a job out in Washington. I'll be moving out there before the new school year starts.

I'm sorry. I don't want to leave you all but it happened so fast and I have to.

I'm going to miss seeing Meri all the time. She's amazing and she's going to grow into a independent woman before I know it. I promise to visit as much as I can.

It's your news. I suppose what you do with it is up to you. I'm not entirely sure if it would stop Seth's worries. A union is one thing. A blood pact is another.

I know. None of it is anything I thought about or worried about until Seth brought it up. I'm not used to the idea of family getting complicated on me and you've all become another kind of family for me.
