You heard it here first! I'm proud to announce that Lilith and I are now the official new parents to a beautiful baby girl! We've decided to name her Eireann Michelle.

Mom and baby are both doing just fine, and she's got two very proud and protective big brothers and a delighted big sister. And, yeah, Mom and Dad are pretty thrilled too.

How are things going for you and yours?

Really well, actually. My new job is working out just fine and the kids are great. Best of all, though, Erato and I have settled into our new place. If it's a dream, I'm not in the mood to wake up, you know?

A little older - third graders. It's not just the age that's different either; these kids come from a very different background than my last class. I'm having to learn some different techniques with them.

But I do miss the kids back at my Club still.

Have you sent them any letters or emails telling them how you're doing? I'm sure they'd love to hear from you.

And, yes, there's always that learning curve with every new group of kids. I'm sure you'll get along great, though. Next thing you know, they'll be offering their own suggestions for what you should name your firstborn.

I sent them a card with a letter inside the moment I got settled out here. I even included pictures of the Club out here as well as my school.

As for offering suggestions on my child's name, they've already started. I have a picture of Erato on my desk and third grade girls are incredibly nosey.
