I understand this is upsetting, though Erato isn't genuinely malicious. She's simply caught in how her role influences her way of thinking.

Even Muses are slaves to the creative process, Uncle. We do what work we can when we're able. It's just lucky for us that we can still fulfill our given duties as mortals--though it is harder when we can't use our powers like we used to.
