Hello, Dite. How are you and the children doing?

How lucky that you live somewhere with mild winters. The twins would love to play outdoors, they both are their fathers' children, but it's simply too cold for the poor dears.

Ivy is so wonderfully social, though. She's got Bes wrapped around her little fingers. She's hardly the only one, however. Seems we have little blossoms of romance popping up out here. I'd say we're likely to be seeing some weddings within the next couple years.

Well, for one, if he hasn't done so already, Triton will be proposing to Athena soon. He's ready. I've seen the rings.

And, curiously enough, Erato and Bes appear to be quite taken with each other. More than just a fling. I... don't know if she'll actually separate from Achilles, but emotionally? She's already left him.

Oh, darling, you only say that because you don't know him like I do. But, truly, he is a dear lad. He's even been checking in on Anthony. He's more father than brother to him, which is surprising in itself, I suppose. Normally, he disdains his father's bastard children.

Unfortunate? Hades, did you see the way Achilles treated her over the holidays? He barely even spoke to her when she was having their child! Now that is unfortunate. Truth be told, I think the Egyptian is a better match for her. She's grown now. She needs a partner, not a hero.

Either way.

They're hardly the first inter-pantheon couple, Hades, and I doubt they'll be the last. After all, didn't Apollo's boy join the Celts because he was in love with one of their number? Not to mention Lilith and Ogma, who have produced a mixed-pantheon child already. Even I've had my dalliances outside of the Greeks.

Still, if it bothers you so much, then talk to them about it. Just... do so gently if you do. The feelings they have are real, and go far deeper than mere physical attraction. They're smitten. And, if you try to separate them, it's only going to end up Montagues and Capulets.

Thus far, it seems the worst that can happen is that one half of the pair disappears.

It's not like we get a choice in the matter on that one, Hades. And there's certainly no proof that the disappearances are meant as punishments.

Like I said. If you're really concerned, talk to your niece. I know you're just as protective of her as the rest of our pantheon is. Not that I blame you, considering what the poor little lamb has been through over these past couple years.

But judging from the way she kissed him goodbye when she came to pick up Laurel and Julian from my place, it's likely pretty well sewn up between them. And, no. I had nothing to do with it. It happened entirely without any intervention from me.

I know Apollo was going to have words with Bes. I don't know if he was going to speak to her.

Very funny, Hades.

You and I both know better than that.

We still have our little secrets between each other. And I promise yours remain in good hands.
