This is one of the stranger message boards I've seen. I'm not quite sure what it's all about. All I know was I was getting the shit spammed out of me, and getting on here seems to have made it stop. I don't know who signed me up for this, but I hope they didn't sign me up for any others. I'd hate to have to change over emails because of too much spam, I've had my current email for a long time now.

Things seem to be pretty heavy up in here. Too much serious stuff going on, on top of school stuff too!

I hear you. It started out pretty calm for me. Weird but calm and then the Gaia stuff happened. It's a lot of heavy stuff to handle but I think we're through the worst of it and hopefully we can just keep sorting out who we are and how we all can hang out and get together.

It brings new meaning to the word "multi-task", let me tell you. How do you balance classes and being a reincarnated god, right? I have a part-time job, too. Luckily, I don't sleep much. :) I'm sure you'll be able to figure it out. You seem like a smart, balanced guy!

Is that kinda the goal of this message board thing? To get us all hanging out? What if... well, did Hanuman have any other gods he didn't get along with? 'Cause that could get awkward, right?

Luckily school comes kinda naturally to me. At least the things I'm studying do.

Maybe? I think the board is just here to make it easier since we're spread out across the country. Luckily, we all seem to be in the US and my group is lucky in that, so far, we're all kind of close but the Greeks are all across the country. Who can afford plane fare all the time, huh?

Oh, I got along with pretty much everyone unless you happened to be a greedy, spouse-stealing demon. Then we had problems. :) But I can see how it would get awkward. Not all religions were sunshine and light and many of the old tales feature direct conflict between deities and factions. You're Anubis, right? There was some serious in-fighting in the Egyptians if I remember my random reading right. So I think I see where you're coming from.

You're lucky. School drives me up a wall. I can do it and do it okay but I hate sitting in a classroom.

I wasn't really raised with any religion, and I only learned a little bit about the Greeks and Egyptians in school. I was always interested about the Egyptian deities, so I did my own reading up about them.

Yeah, we got a real sick fuck in our pantheon. At least he was when Anubis knew him. And it turns out he's out there somewhere too. I just hope he's not still holding a grudge. Compared to him, school's no worry at all. The others in my pantheon are saying it'll be alright. Hope they're right.

I hear you. I work part-time at a restaurant up here and then do odd jobs around the neighborhood. Yardwork, you know? Luckily, I'm low maintenance.

I had a wife, I think, but it wasn't my wife that got stolen. She was Rama's and I met him and his brother when they were searching for her. I helped. A lot, really. ;)

If they know him and they say that it'll be okay, trust them. Just be careful, too. The way I figure, there are still too few of us to go all-out infighting. You don't have to be BFFs with the guy and, if you're worried, it probably is best to not be alone with him until you're sure but I really hope that you both can be civil to each other.

Besides, you can't get laid up by this guy. You and me are on for pizza.

I don't think we have to get back together with our wives or expect that we'll have our kids again if we had kids, though, which is a weight off my mind. I am so very not ready to have kids or a wife or husband or concubine or whatever. But to see people you knew back then again and make friends with them all over? It sounds cool.

But you might want to. If you met someone again who you loved in a past life, you might still love them. Who knows. It would be nice to meet family and loved ones again.

Totally true. If I met her again and fell in love with her again, then that's different. We love who we love.

True. I can't say I remember much about any past lives' spouses. I think for most of them, I didn't have one. I can't even remember much about Anubis's wife either.

Yeah, I can't really remember anything about my wife either. Then again, if you read up on Hanuman, some sources say I was celibate but those are mostly the ones from the medieval times when everyone seemed to get really hung up on sex. Go figure. Me, celibate? XD

I support going after your own love life and not worrying too much about the past. It all works out in the end and you never know if you don't try.

I'm not complaining. I didn't have a sex life at all in high school. I've had some occasional luck while out with my roomie. And at campus groups too. I guess I'll have more free time come summer to chase after that kinda stuff too. Assuming I stay around here for the summer, which I'd like to if I can.

That sounds like a plan to me. Sex or no sex, getting out and meeting people is always fun and it sounds like Nebraska doesn't offer you much - either sex, friends, or just people who got you. Which is a shame as you seem really cool.

Actually, meeting people can be a little stressful sometimes. I don't relate to people real well. I do way better here than back home though.

I can see that. If you're not around people all the time or you end up moving or you're just quieter, meeting people can be a hassle. I have friends who are never the club or party types. If we hang out, it's always small groups because that's what makes them comfy. Coffee shops, cafes, the park. Things like that.

Yeah. That and I really never got along much with anyone back home. Here has been much better, though it has taken me a while to meet people. Oh, I do fine over a computer. In real life, not always so well.

I don't mind bars and clubs. They're fun for people watching, if nothing else. I'm not the best at approaching people, but I usually don't need to. A lot of times people find me.
