This is one of the stranger message boards I've seen. I'm not quite sure what it's all about. All I know was I was getting the shit spammed out of me, and getting on here seems to have made it stop. I don't know who signed me up for this, but I hope they didn't sign me up for any others. I'd hate to have to change over emails because of too much spam, I've had my current email for a long time now.

Well, now that I'm a godling myself. Even if I wasn't, though, I would make for a really lousy priest/monk/etc.

I thought your roomie got you out and around, though? He should introduce you to cooler people then. :)

I'm not complaining. I didn't have a sex life at all in high school. I've had some occasional luck while out with my roomie. And at campus groups too. I guess I'll have more free time come summer to chase after that kinda stuff too. Assuming I stay around here for the summer, which I'd like to if I can.

That sounds like a plan to me. Sex or no sex, getting out and meeting people is always fun and it sounds like Nebraska doesn't offer you much - either sex, friends, or just people who got you. Which is a shame as you seem really cool.

Actually, meeting people can be a little stressful sometimes. I don't relate to people real well. I do way better here than back home though.

I can see that. If you're not around people all the time or you end up moving or you're just quieter, meeting people can be a hassle. I have friends who are never the club or party types. If we hang out, it's always small groups because that's what makes them comfy. Coffee shops, cafes, the park. Things like that.

And I think you're doing just fine relating. We're having a conversation here, right: :)

Yeah. That and I really never got along much with anyone back home. Here has been much better, though it has taken me a while to meet people. Oh, I do fine over a computer. In real life, not always so well.

I don't mind bars and clubs. They're fun for people watching, if nothing else. I'm not the best at approaching people, but I usually don't need to. A lot of times people find me.

That's a good trick to know. I usually just end up doing the approaching myself but that's probably because I'm impatient and, if you believe the hype, shameless.

Oh, you know. I just go up and talk to people and ask them about themselves. Or ask them to dance or out on a date or whatever seems like a good idea at the time. The worst anyone can say is no, right? Of course, yes leads to other things and then you learn more about them and you just have fun and enjoy whatever you're doing. Which, admittedly, if it starts in a club or a bar, usually ends up with kissing. So I guess that's shameless. XD

I'd just think of that as friendly, not really shameless. I may not be he most outgoing person, but I do enjoy people who are.

Now THAT is really good to know because otherwise we would have some serious issues hanging out and that would be a bummer.
