(no subject)

So, that little stunt that put us in FaeLand just cost me the job I've had for seven years.

I'm going to eat the carton of ice cream in my freezer, sleep, then look for a job in the morning. Or whenever I decide to get up. So much for moving up in the world.

I make a fairly compelling reference. If you need someone to speak on your behalf, or write a letter of recommendation toward helping you reach your goals, or anything else, by all means, I'll do what I can.

The girls are doing all right. I don't believe they've told their mother about what happened, and they're just happy that I'm one of the "good guys" in this crazy metaphysical mixed-up world.

It's the least I could do for someone I care about.

Yes, a lot of us faced some rather rude awakenings in that place. How are things standing with you and yours?

And that's appreciated.

You were with one of your own in Faerie, weren't you? Those illusions could be quite... intense. Everything all right between you? Your pantheon is doing well? As the group physician, I just want to make certain.

No not at all!

Hmm, yes. A familiar scenario. My was pulled from Back Then as well.

Ha!

I know a number of insomnia treatments, both homeopathic and prescription.

It was a relatively ordinary day with Epione and our sons and daughters.

Wow, Tweak.

If you'd ever want to just talk it out, I'm here.

No chance of that in my household. My daughter was the goddess of hygiene, after all.

I don't think that's quite it. There are times I miss Maureen too. Actually, what I think I'm really missing is just having a full house.
