Tell me... is it uncommon to have mental disturbances with one's dreams around here? Something is decidedly amiss, and I'm not certain I quite understand the purpose behind them. Does anyone have experience with matters of this nature in relation to this place?

It depends on what your godly portfolio was in your first life. I was a goddess of prophecy, so I receive visions semi-frequently. Are you having disturbing dreams too?

I was the god of many things. The priesthood among them. I wouldn't say the dream are unpleasant, just very odd. And urgent.

Yeah, that sounds about right. I've been having dreams of late like that too.

They started as almost like flashbacks, but..yeah, I do get that feeling of being drawn.

I've had past life dreams before. I think those are pretty common for us. Whatever the dream or nightmare was, it's probably relavent in some way.

I'm getting a lot of tree imagery. And a peculiar urge to at least visit the West Coast.

Dreams are rarely so clear as to be specific. But if I had to guess, it would appear to be northern California.

I didn't go actually, I had just started coming on here, but others were going, to look for lost loved ones. And they found them, too.

Lost loved ones? I'm not sure that's the reasoning in my case. I'm not aware of any lost loved ones of mine.

That doesn't sound very healthy. Have you checked with a doctor about that?

Not lately. My parents took me when I was a kid but they couldn't figure out anything except taking me off sugar and caffeine but that didn't kill it. I still had a screwy sleep schedule. It's just even weirder now that I am who I am. Or realized, anyway.

Are you sleeping okay even with the dreams?

The dreams disturb my waking hours more than they do my resting ones. They leave me with more questions than answers.

Maybe. It's not like it really bothers me, though, and it means I get a lot of stuff done. But I could get looked at again. Maybe Asclepius would see me? He's just up in WA so it wouldn't be a trip across country so it wouldn't be too bad.

Oh, I get it. It's more like visions than dreams. That sounds more our speed. Have you tried going into a meditative state to try and isolate them? Freeing your mind from other interference and stimuli could allow your unconscious the time and space to decode what the universe is trying to tell you.

I don't think these are purely visions, or purely dreams. Perhaps a message of some sort, but I'm unfamiliar with what it is trying to tell me. Why would there be a place I would need to go that I have never been to before?

I don't know but we always end up in places where we need to be somehow or another or, if we don't know we need to be there, we'll figure it out soon enough. Sometimes it's Gaia pulling our chains and sometimes it's something else entirely. We've woken up handcuffed to each other and we've gone to Faerieland so... I don't know. If a lot of people are having the same sort of uneasy dreams, then I think it means that something is coming. I just wish we knew what so we could prepare.

I wouldn't call these dreams uneasy, per se. It's difficult to describe them. There's a sense of urgency, but not forboding.

Not that sort of a dream, no. And largely something I haven't needed to concern myself with since I was much younger.

Of course, I imagine at this point, your nights are more likely to be disturbed by the necessities of motherhood. How is your family doing?

I have no particular experience with dreams of this nature, but I have spoken with those who have. It usually portends something is about to occur.
