To Whom It May Concern:
What the Diawl are you playing at?
Because it isn't funny.
And I haven't the time for it.

...Ah, did I catch up there in your exchange with our lovely princess that you were formerly King Arthur? Because there are some things you should probably know...

Are they really here? Are they all right? I would have looked if I'd had the slightest indication before...[Filter: Arthur]
I am Asclepius, son of Apollo and Prince of Thessaly. However, I have befriended Gawain, and I am in love with Nimue. She and I have been together for a couple months now. More importantly, back in July, all of us were brought together to get some idea of what is going on. As the princess mentioned, it's a race to the finish. We must rediscover our seats of power, and whoever does so first, gains sway over the ordinary mortals. However, I have renounced my standing with my fellow Greeks, and sworn my allegiance to the Arthurian cause. In your stead, Gawain made me an honorary Knight of the Round Table. If you will accept it, sire, my bow is yours to command.

I'd attempt to argue about why we should bother playing such a game, but I suppose you had me at 'sway over ordinary mortals' and 'Greeks'. No offense intended to the calmer members of your family.

I take no offense. I fear the Greeks have earned their reputation.
Here is what I can tell you of the standings:
The Greek pantheon has the greatest numbers--12 besides myself at last count--but Zeus has not appeared, nor has Hera. Without him, there is sure to be a struggle for the throne between Poseidon and Hades. Aphrodite is likely to become the next queen, one way or another. Both are gathering their followers for the ultimate showdown that is to come. I believe Hades has the greater following, but Poseidon will not go down easily, especially not with the recent appearance of his son and lieutenant Triton. If Hades truly has his way, the Greeks will not win at all, despite the advantage of numbers. He would prefer to see a less precocious group take control.
Then there are the Norse. They have only four at this time, but both of their leaders have appeared. With Odin and Frigg leading, and Sif and Tyr following, I would say they are the best poised to win at this point.
There is also one Egyptian. I do not know him well, but it would be wise to remain vigilant with him. He is Seth, the lord of chaos, and although I do not think he is eager to take over, but there is no telling what he might do.
Re: [Filter]
Oh, lovely. Brothers fighting not only over a throne but over a woman. That never has collateral damage.
But don't worry in my regard in terms of the Egyptian, at least. My days of being complacent about the wild cards are far behind me.

However, this is knowledge that few know. The four of us who were there, my father Apollo and the Muse Erato, and now you. I do not wish this to get around to the other pantheons, nor to Poseidon. The consequences would probably not be favorable.

Where are you?

Has she done any scrying alone since?

Understandable. I certainly appreciate anything you can do to convince her to call you for assistance before she works.
One would hope without any of those parts one reads about with cutting off people's faces, of course. Thessaly sounds rather scary in the books, but who am I to talk.[Filter]
I do what I can. She enjoys my company and appreciates my knowledge.
