How does one go about letting their modern family in on it? Because I'm still trying to figure out how my folks are going to take this.

There really aren't any hard and fast rules on that. Tyr's family knew about us before they ever met me. My family, though... It's a process. Carl has made it necessary, though. There's no other way to explain how a two-month-old looks and acts like a preschooler.

Not entirely sure that my folks would be terribly thrilled with me if I waited to spawn randomly or another big event. I sometimes think Dad knows more about some things than he lets on.

It's really okay. I completely understand why and appreciate that you didn't push. I was in a horrible, dark place that I would never wish on anyone... as cliche-ish as that sounds.
