I don’t mean to be rude or anything but I didn't plan on starting this week by joining a new cult. I’m sure you’re all very nice people but the email tag is super sketchy and invasive. Especially with what's been going on in the news lately. This stuff is totally the last thing California needs.

This is all very odd.

How do you even deal with this anyway? I mean If one of you says “I’m Athena Goddess of War” or whatever and the next person says, “Oy, I’m Irish and my brother is the God of War so put that in your pipe and smoke it!” who even wins? How can two people, deities, be of the same thing without causing a time ripple whenever they go near each other? Or do you cause a time ripple? Is that why you have to go all google on each other instead of talking in your face places?

Sorry. I guess it’s none of my business. You all seem like very interesting people. Uh. When I'm famous this will be a really good story to tell Conan.

I know, right? And then the monsters! I'm sure the monsters are new. I mean it would explain our amazing special effects but I think the union people would get upset.

What do you need help for that strange emails fix?

Still it's nice to meet you, Javi. Uh, sort of. Sort of nice, because weird, and sort of meet since the internet is all ambiguity about that. I'm over in L.A. So far away but not miserably so.

Totally upset and that might lead to union strikes and that pretty much never makes anyone happy. Besides, the monsters hit Florida, too, and who wants to film there if you can avoid it? No offense to Florida!

Don't worry. You'll get used to weird. It's a way of life around here but it's mostly a nice kind of weird. Pretty much everyone here is really cool and, even if you belong in one group, you can be friends with people in another. I'm Hindu, for instance, but I'm pretty tight with Mel from the Greeks and Anubis from the Egyptians. Everyone's got a lot of interesting stories to tell.

If I'm ever down in LA, can I look you up?

... Yeah you can come by. But I'm only loling you because I googled all those things and both seem like pretty cool pantheon figures. It seems like Hinduism would be pretty cool with multiples anyway though? Do you think you're somebody keen?

Don't know that Atlantis was ever real but I can't imagine it would be fun unless you were a mermaid or Triton or a Hawaiian pearl diver. I hear they can hold their breath for insane lengths of time.

Oh, come on. Be nice. I'm not trolling you, honest. Everyone who gets the email is a god reborn and there are powers that be that get a little nasty if you keep refusing to accept it.

The irony of being part of the Hindu group is that I was actually raised, kind of, Hindu. My dad still practices but I've gotten a little wobbly in my adherence. Understandable, you know? Before you ask, no, I haven't told my dad that I'm Hanuman yet. I don't want to freak him out.

I'm nice! I don't mean to be rude but it's been a weirdo day and you're very smart about pearl divers. (Who sound pretty rad actually!) I think I'd know if I were a deity. I mean sometimes I affect people but that's probably just my personality. And what happened with my Dad. Or my grandparents. Or... People of our generation are just perky.

Well my google skills tell me Hanuman had a pretty nifty myth going. At least you know how to properly worship yourself. Which has to be good for your self esteem! If a little conceded.

No, no, it's okay. I didn't mean to get in your face about it! We're cool. I just want to help and you seem confused and kind of worried so I want to make it seem as normal as I can. Really, it's not so bad. I promise. I've met so many neat people this way. Ask me anything and I'll do my best to answer you.

I only really figured out who I was after I got the email and started talking to everyone here. Meeting Kali really jogged the brain cells and then it all came back and BAM I knew I was Hanuman. Then Sita showed up and I'm way more certain of everything.

I guess I do. I'm pretty tough and I'm faster and stronger than a normal person. I can jump pretty high, too, but I've always been a little hyperactive and bouncy.
