[ She's worried, so there is no time for changing. Not that wandering around in her nightie (http://www.victoriassecret.com/sleepwear/sleepshirts-and-nighties/eyelet-trim-nightie?ProductID=66214&CatalogueType=OLS&un_jtt_v_lv5=) bothered her in the least. She'd been wearing much less the last time she'd been abducted.

After checking a lot of doors, she finally gets the right one. She knocks and calls through the door.] Max? Are you in there?

[Max had been up for quite a while, and had apparently fallen asleep in a warm black hoodie (http://shop.tritonstyle.com/bilder/produkte/gross/Belphegor-Musick-Sathan-Art-Zipped-Hoodie.jpg) and his pants (http://images.asos.com/inv/w/15/95/873139/black/image1xl.jpg) from the night before. He'd spent time enough pacing back and forth, considering telling her not to come until she promised she wouldn't, but, he was a little unsettled, so he figured seeing another living being would put him at ease. Maybe. If he were lucky, perhaps.

The knock and the call at the door startled him. He hadn't turned on the lights. He didn't want to. But it made properly navigating to the door a bit more difficult, thick shades obscuring most of the sunlight from the singular window of his room, so that when he opened the door, he opened it into a very literal darkness. It took him a moment to blink, look at her, look at her- nightgown, and look at the floor.]

[He seems slightly unsure of what to say to her. Hi? Come in? Go away?] Er- [And he's off to a great start.] Hi? [A hand finds it's way to his forehead, as if trying to quell something inside his brain, but he gives her what could pass as a slight smile.]

[ She had almost moved on, thinking she'd knocked on yet another wrong dour, when it opened.

She eyed him worriedly, and nearly reached out to take hours hand, but she stopped herself. She didn't want to affect him with her powers more than she had to. Though she was still unaware of her amplified pull. She was attributing any stranger than usual reactions to having been in the same room as Aphrodite and Erato again. So she just smiled warmly back at him.]

Hi. How are you feeling?

[This was not the time to start feeling like this. It was impossible to put a finger on what exactly she was, but it was almost considerably distracting. He wasn't sure if he should keep smiling, but the demons thrashing around in his consciousness quickly put a stop to it.]

Fine. [One of his hands reaches for the other, his nails gently digging into the skin of his inner wrist.] Fine if wanting to crawl out of your skin is fine. [His voice is a little unsteady. He doesn't quite trust it. It just seems like it wants to crawl out of him, too. All those voices.]

[ She frowned, this time she did reach out and touch him, taking his hands in hers, pulling them away from his face.]

That is certainly not fine. This has never happened to you before?

[ She hated to ask that question but she had to, if only to rule out this being something normal.]

[His breath hitched a bit as she grabbed his hands. Fuck. Mixed signals fuzzed in his brain for a moment. She was attractive, and Legion, well, Legion had already been thinking she was quite lovely.

Fuck. The combination of whatever the hell she was doing to him, and the demons clamoring to get out aren't making it easy for him to say words, much less anything coherent.]

-not this badly, no. [He can't particularly bring himself to slap her hands away or anything quite so drastic. But he considers it. They want out of his body and into hers, and she's just so close, and her hands are so soft, and she's just so- dreadfully pretty, it kind of stings.]

[She knows she's probably distracting him a little, but she's too concerned to not offer some kind of comfort. Her thumbs makes softly little circle patterns over the backs of his hands.]

So something sort of like this has happened before. How can I help? What do you need?
