It would seem this email is the basis of an advanced network designed solely to entice gods of varying myths and legends. I can never recall any time when I would be considered a god, though I hesitate to assume the system is mistaken. Am I meant to be Hades? Satan? Thanatos? I have heard a dozen names for similar figures, yet none seem to fit. Still, I cannot discount my own abilities. I am clearly not an ordinary man.

Tell me, then: who am I meant to be?

No, pet, there's no mistake. You're a Greek. And not Hades--I'm sure you'll meet him soon--nor Thanatos. We didn't often cross paths, but love and death are often intertwined. If I'm not mistaken, you're a daimon. Phonos, I believe.

Greek pantheon, sweetness. I don't think any of us returned are of Greek heritage in this lifetime.

And a daimon is a spirit of sorts worshipped in Greece. Some were good, some less than friendly, but they contributed to a household's everyday fortunes. To have good luck in those days was to have good daimones watching out for you, for instance.
