It would seem this email is the basis of an advanced network designed solely to entice gods of varying myths and legends. I can never recall any time when I would be considered a god, though I hesitate to assume the system is mistaken. Am I meant to be Hades? Satan? Thanatos? I have heard a dozen names for similar figures, yet none seem to fit. Still, I cannot discount my own abilities. I am clearly not an ordinary man.

Tell me, then: who am I meant to be?

Yes, the barrier between the human and fae worlds. Humans can't pass through it, generally speaking, but the sidhe can. Except that Gaia has cursed the Unseelie fae: any who pass through the Veil become human. We're locked out of our home.

To the extent that we are both sidhe. But she is of the Seelie Court. I've been Unseelie since well before the Courts divided.

What makes a Seelie different from an Unseelie?

Loyalties, mostly. Mab rules the Unseelie Court, while Oberon and Titania rule the Seelie. The courts divided after Mab and Oberon had a falling out. Family squabbles and all that. Unseelie are primarily nocturnal creatures who favor the cold, while many Seelie are comfortable in summer and sunlight. Me, I'm really too old for it to make all that much difference either way.

Oh, no, we get along quite well. I used to be the emissary for the Seelie Court and a page and jester for the Unseelie at the same time. Everyone liked to see me.
