What is the purpose of this? Why would they give us this forum?

We're pretty widely scattered, our kind. This forum gives us a central location to communicate and connect with each other. The fact that it's invite-only means it's something of a safe haven, and will keep our discussions from attracting the wrong type of attention.

Well I can see the function, but why would our..hosts..give us this forum?

We're less certain as far as the motives go. They seem to change at times.

If you'd like to pick Gaia's brain, be my guest. We'd all be very interested in your discoveries. They're rarely very direct. They come when they want and make our lives irritating without warning. uch of it is pretty inane. Like kidnapping us all two winters ago, literally just so we could entertain them. Can't wait to see what they've got planned for this year...

Yeah, we're not fans of her either. Or the other guy. He hasn't told us his name, but he's a creepy jerk from what I hear.

Once in a while, they can be generous. We all got presents from them last year while we were trapped on the pocket dimension estate. Of course, that was probably just so the children would have a safe place to be born.

So they insured the birth of more gods..intriguing.
