I couldn't figure out how to stop the invites from coming. Even my sister, who's much more tech savvy than me, couldn't figure it out. I don't even know how I got subscribed to this. Is there a way to unsubscribe?

Yep, that's pretty much how it works and, if you ignore the emails, they'll start hijacking printers, I hear, and printing out the same message again and again. So it's better to just answer and avoid killing the trees.

Nothing at all. There's no sign-up fee or anything. It's just all about becoming yourself and not in that creepy-mumbo-jumbo-drink-nothing-but-filtered-water-with-extra-ions-and-believe-in-the-flying-spaghetti-monster way. Though I guess you could argue that all of us have been part of a cult at one point or another but minus the negative connotations.

I am. I've only been here a couple of years but I love it. I'm based in Harlem where my school is and the Boys and Girls Club where I volunteer.

None taken but I told you it wasn't a cult. Well, except when it is but it's a whole bunch of cults and this is strictly by the academic and by-the-Oxford-dictionary definition of cults. So it's a sort of equalizing situation here where everyone plays nicely together. Except for the bitch who will never be invited to the group but don't worry about her because I think she'll be quite for a while.
