This is one of the stranger message boards I've seen. I'm not quite sure what it's all about. All I know was I was getting the shit spammed out of me, and getting on here seems to have made it stop. I don't know who signed me up for this, but I hope they didn't sign me up for any others. I'd hate to have to change over emails because of too much spam, I've had my current email for a long time now.

So how do you know where to look? Bastet said something about La's Vegas being important to the Egyptian pantheon. Are here any other places like that? What about the underworld?

There was a note when we got through the doors and mess in Vegas that indicates we're done there. For now, at least. Astarte is not going to be found there. The note is a bit of doggerel that seems to point in the direction we need to go but it's cryptic to say the least.

Tree of life? There's mentions of that in the Osiris tales. Is Osiris a part of this group?

He would be but he hasn't shown up yet. That's the only tree of importance that I can think of in Egyptian mythology. Other pantheons have a lot more trees. Unless the poem is trying to tell us that we need to check with the Norse.

I guess, if others are willing to help. 'Tree of life' seems to be a common theme among pantheons.

It does - especially amongst societies that have a lot of trees such as the Norse and Greek. If we're looking for trees, though, I'm pretty sure we won't be finding what we need in Vegas. I somehow doubt we need a palm tree and that's the majority of what is going on in this bit of the world.
