How much more involved? Just for curiosity's sake. No, never mind. That's just me being nosy. There are more important things to talk about than that kind of stuff but it's good you found your way here. Everyone is really interesting and nice and I don't want you to think any of us are nuts. Because we're no more insane than the next lunatic. :)

Well, needless to say, my parents were more than a little bit shocked to see my twin brother born with dark hair, dark eyes, dark skin and a normal human form, and I emerged nine minutes later, pale, blond, blue-eyed and winged.

Oh, they tested me and my feathers quite thoroughly. Not a single genetic test could provide an explanation. I was just the miracle child.

You'd think the world would get bored with "miracle children," the way they keep popping up and the term gets tossed around. Then again, I lean towards the idea that every kid is a miracle so maybe I'm a sap like that.

By the way, until you find others from your pantheon, feel free to call on me or anyone else. Kali was the only Hindu for ages until I started getting the emails and then Sita got them and now we're a whopping three but I imagine Kali would have been lonely if not for the Egyptians who spent a lot of time hanging with her.
