Normally I have such esteem for rules, but there was a day where I cared nothing for mortal law. I cannot begin to justify my action. I knew only the need to embrace my former self and fulfill that deep-seeded part of myself.

No, I did not know them. I found a drug addict whom I presume, in retrospect, to have been homeless and possibly suffering withdrawals. I asphyxiated him into unconsciousness and then drowned him in a nearby puddle.

His death is more likely to be ruled accidental than a homicide. There was minimal struggle, clear history of illegal drug use, and nothing by which detectives could identify my presence at the scene.

I'm noticing a pattern here. Persephone and I were more like our past selves in personality that day than we've ever been as humans. She also told me how Adonis was unable to control his sexual impulses. Something on Halloween removed our human inhibitions in order to act like our past selves again.

The pattern is interesting, I admit, but it does not explain a cause or make it possible to prevent future occurrences.

No it does not. Given past events my first inclination is to place blame on the Powers, however the sluagh proved that the powers are not the only mystical beings that play havoc. It could always be something tying in to All Hallows Eve itself.

It seems odd that the spirits should coax Murder into Killing. I am more inclined to suspect the Powers.
