From what I recall reading about maenads, she definitely fits the description.

Of course now I'm concerned about possible retaliation, as well as attacks against my friends. Do you think there is any chance you could persuade your one-time husband to reel in his followers?

I'm not sure quite where he is these days--I haven't seen him since we were all at the hotel. But I'll see if I can get in touch with him and find out what is going on.

I only encountered the one maenad, Wendy. I have no idea if there are others ... but it wouldn't surprise me if there were.

It's far less likely for there to be only one. They used to travel in packs. They would feed off each other's energy--part of what made them so dangerous.

It behooves us all to be vigilant. I'm quite relieved that my uncle has reappeared. Our little band could use his power.

He seems like a good man. I realize I'm a princess of Crete, but I'd like to consider myself an ally to your band. I have little doubt my great-uncle Hades is just as pleased.

I'll check with him--see if he knows anything about these developments--in a day or two, especially if I hear back from Dionysus.
