Valentine Delivery

[It wasn't quite Valentine's Day yet when a wood carved box and flowers arrives by special delivery to Esther. The card reads: "Because it's fun to actually be the one sending these things, and because everyone should get Valentines. Even if it's just from a friend. -E"]

[Now Esther is going to have to try and quickly send out a something--Valentine's generally isn't something she puts much celebration into, considering she's single and Jewish.]

I'll admit, I don't usually pay much observance to Valentine's Day. I don't have a significant other, and, well, it's not really on the Jewish festival calendar.

I don't get a choice in the matter usually. But flowers from customers is rather hollow. And even if you don't observe it, it's hard to ignore it. I just wanted to you know you were thought of.
