Something tells me that Melpomene isn't the only one with a bun in the proverbial oven. All things considered, we should probably have the numbers on record, in case the Anti-Godling squads come looking for us. How many of you ladies are also expecting?

I really do miss you, but I can't just uproot my family and leave my job right now. Devin will be a junior this next year, and Harper is going to be in the seventh grade, and I'd hate to force them to transfer at this point. But, in two years, he'll be off to college and she'll be ready to start high school... If there were a good time to relocate it'd be then.

...I'm probably getting ahead of myself, aren't I?

Tell you what... As sort of a peace offering for all the shock, I promised the kids I'd take them to Disneyland this summer. Join us?

I'd love to. If you think they'd be comfortable with it, we could stay with my parents. They have more than enough room and live a short drive away from the park.

I'll have to ask the kids their feelings on that. I mean, I told them about you and the baby. It's important, and a teaching moment. I couldn't put it off. It's been a lot for them to take in. But I'll check.

Well, if it helps any, they very much want to meet all of you. They've already dubbed all three of you as family. But do ask the kids first, then if they agree I'll bring it up to my moms. Otherwise, they won't give anyone a choice at all.
