Action style post

[She refused to panic, but waking up in a room that wasn't hers had her a bit on edge. She listens at the door for a moment but didn't hear anything.

Not one to sit around and wait, she opens the door and steps out into the hallway. Being in her pajamas (just a tank top and sleep shorts), her bare feet make no noise as she walks down the hall.]

[He's had the presence of mind to at least be semi-dressed, but his hair is a bit mussed and his expression is wary.]

[She's obviously relieved to see him, and jogs toward him.]

I'm glad to see you. Do you know where we are?

[He embraces her, just for a moment]
No, I don't. I've never been in a place quite like this before. Something is very wrong.

[It wasn't like he hadn't hugged her before, but for some reason being held in his arms and pressed against his bare chest was making her mouth go dry and her stomach flutter.

She pulls back, her cheeks a little flushed, and she pretends it isn't happening.]

I don't remember anything off happening. When I went to bed, I was in my own room. I'd remember if someone attacked me.

[Frigg hadn't wanted to get up. For some reason her bed felt extra good. However, she realized the bed just felt..off. This woke her up, and she realized she wasn't in her room at all! It was her dream bedroom. A walk-in closet and my God her own king-sized waterbed! Okay, while it was tempting to wallow around in decadence, the queen in her immediately took stock. She hadn't left her room last night so obviously the Earthmother and whoever that other guy was had brought them somewhere. She slipped on a robe to cover herself, only wearing a bra and panties, before venturing into the hallway. She saw the pair hugging, and pointedly remained inconspicuous until they parted, then walked in as if she hadn't seen anything.]

Seems I'm not alone here.

[Urania is already in winter PJs, thank you Wyoming weather. And slipper-socks. They have stars on them.]

[Triton's eyes flicker over the other two women. Urania he knows. Frigg... He's seen her, but they haven't ever really conversed.]

Ah. I see. If Nigel is the next person to show up, I'm going to have some choice words for him.

Three times before, everyone of us was kidnapped to a hotel in a pocket dimension. Nigel was the... whatever... assigned to us as staff and spokesperson.

Though last time, it wasn't when we were all asleep.

Although, that is a good question. Why bring us to a house, when traditionally we've been taken to the hotel?

At least twice so far, sweetie. I was a latecomer myself at the time so I missed the original hotel visit. Though I do remember the Halloween party they had there,

[Frigg's eyes light with recognition.] I remember you. You tried to help me with my family's clue. [She offers her hand.] I'm Frigg.

Maybe this time we're supposed to stay longer. You stay in hotels for a vacation. You stay in homes because you live there... or you're visiting someone who does.

[Then the blonde girl's statement caught her attention.]

What do you mean by 'live here'? I can't stay here. My dad will freak.

Don't worry. Every other time we've been taken like this, we've returned only to find a single second lost. That's all. Time clearly means nothing in these places.

[Her posture change was immediate when he touched her spine. She straightened slightly and then her weight shifted a bit toward him. She wasn't even aware she'd done it.]

It was because of things like this I decided not to go to school. The only person that will really miss me if I'm gone is my dad, so hopefully he'll never know the difference.
