Okay, the first hour of this was cute, but really do you know how hard it is to tell your commanding officer you were late to a drill because you had to answer an email? Thanks for the K.P. Duty. What is this anyway, some kind of joke?
Yeah, we've all been through this crap before. There's no way out of it, it's been tried. The best way to deal with it is to get things laid out quickly.
I can tell you that those responsible's sense of humor is not nearly this dignified. The understatement is admittingly lost in text. Since they likely will not, I am sorry this has disrupted your life. My name is Ian Price, and those of us here have something in common..albeit something that will sound..well mental to be honest.
No, I don't imagine the military being terribly thrilled about that. Still, we're glad you're here!
I'm Hada Morgenstern, and fortunately the most I have to deal with is politicians, less so the armed forces guys. I don't think you're with me, but has anyone explained what this place is to you yet?
Oh, dear, sorry to hear that. Things should calm down as you get settled in.
Anyway! I'm Alan Cleary. I'm a high school English teacher. The kids call me Coach or Big Al--I'm not really picky. I'm sure you've got a lot of questions, though!
Good. If it happens again, It might mean even more trouble for me. You're right though, I do have a lot of questions. Like how did I get selected for this little fan club thing?
Bullshit, hm? I'd agree with you there. That's the feeling I am getting looking over the forum. But it is hard to lay things out quickly when you're supposed to be on duty. I grabbed the nearest PC soon as I could.
Mental as every printer in the area deciding to print out the same message? Mental as being bombarded with the same email? I think I can handle it so long as this isn't a prank. And if it is a prank my superiors would love to know who hacked into a military system.
