I've heard Sekhmet mentioned and it's familiar enough that I'm not second guessing it. I actually feel pretty comfortable with it. It's like putting on an old, favorite sweatshirt.
Medicine is an extremely broad field. It does help to specialize. I'm primarily a surgeon, but I also teach and do research at my institution. Around here, I serve more or less as the primary godling GP.
There certainly are a lot of mysteries when it comes to pathogens. I'm just lucky in that I seem to be immune to them all at this point. Are you doing any studies currently?
I was at the Academy, but then I was also doing general premed stuff too. Right now they have me on Search and Rescue learning more or less glorified EMT stuff. But it all goes towards med school.
