Okay, the first hour of this was cute, but really do you know how hard it is to tell your commanding officer you were late to a drill because you had to answer an email? Thanks for the K.P. Duty. What is this anyway, some kind of joke?
Ouch! That's totally bad timing. You have to wish Gaia gave things a little more consideration when she decides to go all hacker on us because it can cause a lot of problems. I think your story is the worst, though. But the emails won't come anymore now that you've logged onto the board and started meeting us. I'm not going to say it won't still be weird or get weirder but it's a nice sort of weird if you follow me.
Gaia as in Mother Earth. She's a crazy kind of lady-goddess-power-thing and she's pushy when it comes to playing whatever game she wants to play. I don't really know. But it's okay because we're all here together and you'll find that pretty much everyone here is really cool and interesting.
And I see that you've got a good idea of who you are and where you belong now so that's cool. It means that you'll be less freaked out when I tell you that I'm also Hanuman. :)
No, not like us at all. She's a crazy bitch for one thing. XD
Oh, I get you. Don't worry about it. Take all the time you need. I know how crazy it can feel when you find out and it just makes it weirder when you know the religion pretty well. My dad's Hindu and, while I wasn't quite raised 100% in that way, I still grew up with the stories. Needless to say, I haven't told my dad yet.
I'll hold off on joining you with insulting anyone or anything just yet, being the newbie and all. But imagine me nodding.
The thing is, and I am a bit to say... I sort of drifted away from Hinduism. I mean I grew up with it, but then when I hit being a teen... well you know. My parents would freak if I was saying I was talking to hindu gods. I think it's something I'll safely not share. I'd imagine it's sort of the same for you?
Pretty much. That would just be the icing on the cake and I don't want to do that to my dad. He has enough on his plate. I know some of us have gone public and some of us have just told our families but I figure that, if I don't have to tell my dad, I won't. I don't like keeping secrets from him but this would blow his mind in a huge way.
Anyway, I'm really glad to meet you and I'm just out in northern CA so I'm not too far away. I'll actually be in Vegas soon to see Kali fight so maybe you should come see that, too, and we can meet. I'll be bringing Sita with me.
Oh man, this will never stop being surreal. It's one thing to be you know someone from a dead religion, but it's quite another to hear there are the walking embodiments of a religion that is alive and kicking...
I would like to meet up though. After all it's not every day you come face to face with a god/goddess. (Usually, at least)
Then it's a deal. I'll let you know when we're in town and we'll hook up and hang out. Trust me. You get used to meeting all sorts of interesting people around here.
