Hello. I got tired of deleting the email from my inbox and this seemed to be the only way to get it to stop. I'm not entirely sure what comes next but I hope it doesn't result in more random emails from mysterious sources. Is there a next step to this or am I free to reclaim my internet connection again?

Date: 2013-01-27 11:22 am (UTC)I understand you're a fellow resident of New York? Well, if you'd ever feel up to a chat, you're welcome to drop by, dear. I still have two more weeks of maternity leave.

Date: 2013-01-27 12:17 pm (UTC)I don't want to impose but I might have to accept your offer of a visit after I do a little more research. If you tell me what your twins like, I can promise treats.

This is my daughter, Ivy. I fear my son has inherited that sea-god temperament you can see a bit of in our dear Triton up there. Ivy, my sweet, do say hello.
[The little girl waves]
Hello, Mr. Cal. I'm Ivy. My brother is Antny. Our birthday is December. I like little cakes with chocolate and orange. And candy roses. Antny is silly. He likes salty stuff.

Date: 2013-01-28 10:01 am (UTC)Hi, Ivy. It's a pleasure to meet you. Thank you for coming to say hello. I like chocolate, too, but I've never had a candy rose. Do you think I could get one at the flower shop?

Date: 2013-01-28 10:11 am (UTC)Dunno. Candy roses are real roses covered in sugar. I think candy shops have them. Oh! And grape juice. The sparkly kind with bubbles. Mother says we're too little for real wine.

Date: 2013-01-28 11:17 am (UTC)So you like sweet and Anthony *good job interpreting kid-speak names* likes salty. Have you ever had dark chocolate salted caramels? I bet both of you would like those.

Date: 2013-01-28 12:04 pm (UTC)That sounds good. Both of them. Antny's big brother likes salt sweets too. I think it's a sea thing.

Date: 2013-01-29 09:37 am (UTC)Probably. Makes sense to me. But you know... I think I'm with you. I like chocolate with orange better than with salt. Ever have one of those chocolate oranges that you bang on the table and it falls apart in all of these little orange slices?

[She is gently shooed off by her mother]
Well. Sounds like we have an engagement, dear lad. Here's the information. [Aphrodite gives him her phone number and address] I'll make sure the doorman knows to expect you. Penthouse suite, of course.
